A b o u t :
Data Addiction, or just DA (notice something similar?), is a monthly (maybe not) comic (we don't know yet though we're asking everyone of different styles to join) magazine where YOU guys get to be the mangakas and all the admins will do is to compose them together like a magazine but into a .ZIP file and upload to dA once a month. So basically, it's a spilt project! We'll do the assignings, the complying and you guys would do the magazine. How's that sound? ;DD
P.S. DA is a normal magazine, and reads left to right.

J o i n i n g :
Uhn, note us with the title 'JOIN'! We'll reply soon... I hope. XD After that please add us in MSN, dataaddiction@hotmail.com if you have MSN. We love to learn more about you guys (actually only KX is on dataaddiction and Jo's normally on her own msn, but whatever). And also, feature us in your journal by linking us like this: : icondata-addiction : without the spaces. Remember to watch  us too! Also, no bashers, haters, flamers, art thieves, etc.

F e a t u r e s :
For the mag, there'll be features obviously! We're not gonna choose. It'll come in a first come first serve basis. So when we say that features are OPEN, send a note immediately to use titled 'FEATURE'! and link us to a page where we can download your picture. And we'll probably reply soon too. Only 15 features gets the slot per month. If we reach more than 15, we'll close the feature slot for the month, sorry! Try again next month! 
For features, please take note to send us a link to a page being able to download FULL SIZED. Please make sure you have a huge huge (or if you want, small but hard to photoshop out) watermark to prevent art theives. Any art theives you have are not in our concern (well it is but we have no time to be chasing people,sorry! TT_____TT), we have no insurance for that. So please be careful! And don't sue us if your picture gets stolen thank yous! 

S u b m i s s i o n s :
After you get assigned (see how it works to learn about it), we'll expect your works at the beginning of that month for which you're assigned to. Please only submit something to the club if you're assigned. We'll let everyone do something! So don't worry. Submission notes should be titled, 'SUBMISSION FOR -INSERT THING YOU'RE GONNA SUBMIT FOR-'. So for example, the cover page, so your note title should be 'SUBMISSION FOR COVER PAGE'
For submissions, do not name your submission something so obvious like, 'DA COVER PAGE' cause people could go to your page and check ahead of time and it won't make it any fun anymores. So please please help us! 
Please make sure that you have a watermark to prevent thieves. If you're doing cover designs, try to make it small... And for comics, make sure every page you submit has a watermark!  For the rest, make sure you have watermarks too. As for literature... I'm not so sure how we can prevent art theives.  But as KX said (well, in fact, KX's writing this whole thing), there's no insurance if you want to work with us.
P.S. If you're doing a manga, pleae please put how it reads (like left to right or right to left) at the top of the page please. (:

H o w I t W o r k s :
Here comes the hard part: 
Since we're doing it monthly, it'll be a bit rushed, so we apologise in advance. When we begin opening the slots up, please send a note titled 'FILLING FOR __________ (-INSERT MONTH IN-)SLOT'. So basically your note title should read 'Filling for Cover Designers (January) slot' (if you're trying for cover designers). (PLEASE NOTE  THAT DA READS LEFT TO RIGHT SO TAKE CARE!)
There are quite a few slots, and each slot would have at least 2 people in it. For the slots, see below.
So, after the slots are filled, again, this comes on a first-come-first-serve basis but we take note of how many stuff you made for the club (that's what the 'Status' next to your username in the members lists are for), so if we think you made too many, we'll let others have a chance (IT'S ONLY FAIR!), we'll inform you by updating the journals on who is doing what (we'll send a note to those who's gonna do something for that month too). 
But if we're gonna do this monthly, how'll it work? 
Except for the first issue of DA, we'll inform the 'workers' one month ahead and set a deadline. You'll have to submit before that deadline to get your work in DA! So for example:
It's Dec now. We'll open the slots soon, and inform you people who's doing what for the Jan issue (so you'll get quite a few days to work on it). After getting Jan's slots done, we'll move on to Feb's so that you guys can have more time to work on the stuff. 
We'll open March's slots on Jan, so you get the whole of Feb to do it. We'll be taking turns too - if you're already in Feb's edition, then you can't be in March's. Get it? ((:
If you don't think you can do this, please note us. We don't really want you guys to stress out over this.  If you didn't note us beforehand it's still ok. We'll note YOU after the deadline (well, if we have time).

S l o t s :
Cover Designers - 2 people max (one for front and one for back)
Short comics strips - 5 people max (the size decided is 700 x 1000 [or anything by a few pixels of that], if you don't resize it yourself, we'll help you resize [and make a mess, HARHARHAR].)
Comic / Manga - 5 people max (a chapter each!!! And try to make it read left to right)
Digital / Traditional Art - 10 arts max. Digital Art means any other art form other than Photo Manipulations, photos and writing. So if you have CGs and want to submit, submit to this slot. 
Photos - 3 photos max (Slot only available to photographers! One photo per photographers. If no one enters for photos section, away it goes~)
Photo Manipulations - 3 max (Again, if no one enters away it'll go)
Artisan Crafts - 3 max
Writings / Literature- 2 storys max (I SERIOUSLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP ART THEIVES STEALING THIS SO YA.) Word limitations: 1,500. (If no one enters then it'll go on a holiday too!)

1 year: a collab between Jo and KX - 2 full bodies. 
3 months: a full body collab or individual.
1 month: a chibi by KX or Jo but KX draws chibis cuter! ;D
For any of those, KX would do traditional for those who lives in Toronto and can meet up to get the picture (if you want it in hardcopy, if not i'm just gonna throw those away. )
NOTE US! Cause Jo's apparently not happy with what i put up so ya (apparently because different countries have different subbie rates. :\). And please. No hentai, ecchi stuff, and pronz (we both don't really draw those). Make our life easier and don't order yaoi or yuri cause we both suck at drawing kissing scenes... KX can draw girly boys but as for Jo i'm really not sureshe says she can. (KX writing here!)
